Elementary Montessori Teacher

Established since 2009 in Sophia Antipolis on the French Riviera (South of France), our International Montessori School "Les Colibris" is accredited by AMF (AMI French affiliate) and ISMM (AMI French training center), and signatory of the charter of Montessori schools in France. Our vision is to help and inspire children to become fulfilled and committed individuals for a better world.

Nestled in lush greenery, our School and College welcomes around 160 children from 2 to 15 years old within 7 bilingual Montessori classrooms.

As part of our development, we are looking urgently for an

Elementary (6-9) Montessori Teacher

• English mother tongue
• 6-12 AMI graduate or ongoing diploma
• Montessori teaching experience is a plus
• European Union (EU) passport or EU work permit
• Full-time contract
• available ASAP

Under the responsibility of the Pedagogical Director, and together with your french AMI 6-12 co-teacher, you will participate in the development of our 6-9 year Montessori cycle.

As such, you implement Montessori pedagogy and principles, with the aim of providing our students with optimal conditions for discovery and learning. Responsible for the organization and management of your class and its activities, you also ensure daily communication with parents and participate in meetings and activities organized by the School (educational meetings, open days, parties, outings…).

Passionate about your job and having all the pedagogical and interpersonal skills essential to carry out your missions, you show your strength of proposal and bring real dynamics to teamwork.
